My Propsal for my 3D games modles

The title of the game is Escape from Pirate Island it is a Pirate theme based game. The player starting on an island in the middle of nowhere and try to escape without dyeing by only using the weapons the player finds all over the island.  The target audience for my game is male and females from the age of 16 plus who enjoy FPS games with friends or on their own.

The technical restraints will be the polygon counts I have to try not to make it to high but high enough so when the image renders it won’t take too long but I want it to be to a professional slandered. The file type will be ever .3ds or.obj the .3ds is a type of file for 3Ds max and the .obj is an object file. but for my sword it will be up to  200 polysgons so it can run in Unreal Engine my ship will be about 2000 polygons and my island will only be about 1000 polygons the max polygons the Unreal Engine can handle is 2000k polys which will make creating my props, ship and island quite easy.

With the island that the game will be on will have the most lighting and texture and the modelling will be in high details. Unlike the ship which will not have much lighting or texture used but the details used on the model will not as low as the lighting and textures. As for the Golden Crown it will have less light and details as well as texture because it will be so small.

With this game I need to make sure that I am not breaking any copyright laws by using images as a reference for example using a pre-made model and just adding to it. I need to put that it is a pre-made model as well as which website I got it from. There will not be any race or sexual discrimination in my game.
Here are the screenshots of my mind maps for my ideas.

3D max introuduction

First I am going to talk about using primitive such as cubes, pyramids, cylinders they are made by going to the create menu then clicking on the first option which is Geometry then click on which ever primitive you want then clicking on the grid then dragging a clicking again to create the length and width on the primitive and drag upwards to give it its height as show by the image below.
Now i will talk about what wireframe which is a way to view the lines of the Primatives as shown by the image below.

Now I am going to talk about how I extruded a 2D surface to a 3D surface this is done by making a primative on the grid as shown by the images to the left you have to drag it to make the 2D object then you have to drag it up to extruded it also show by the image to the left.

The way to edit and extruded an 3D object on the grid is by using varied tools but with all the tools used to edit the shape you use the Vertices which are point on the grid with the X,Y,Z points on it as shown by the image to the left. They are used to extruded a shape which is when you get a 2D object and drag it up to make it a 3D object.

With a Primative there is polygons that makes it up with different elements called know as Faces for example there are five face on a cube and on each primative there are lines which can be curved you do this by selecting a polygon and using the Select and Move tool to edit the shape and make it more curved. A group of polygons connected to each other by Sharded vertices is know as an elements.

One of the most popular methods of constructing meshes is box's modelling which uses two simple tools which are the subdivide tool splits faces and edges into smaller pieces by adding new vertices. For example, a square would be subdivided by adding one vertex in the center and one on each edge, creating four smaller squares and the second tolls used is the extrude tool is applied to a face or a group of faces. It creates a new face of the same size and shape which is connected to each of the existing edges by a face. Thus, performing the extrude operation on a square face would create a cube connected to the surface at the location of the face.
